Water Represents life, birth, fertility and refreshment Growing up in the refugee camp in Ghana, I used to fetch water almost everyday to meet my essential needs.
That means paying for every bucket being fetched. Sometimes when there was a shortage of clean water, I had to fetch water from a longer distance.
This painting represents the strength and struggle of those who go through this every day to meet their essential needs.
This made me stronger and helped me appreciate the value of water.
