Medium: Watercolour

Katelynn grew up surrounded by an extremely artistic family, gaining a love for art by osmosis. She learned to sketch, paint, and play classical violin from an early age. After completing her scientific degrees, she began using watercolours as a creative outlet outside of her work as a research scientist. Art and science have always coexisted in her life, and she brings her scientific eye and love for vintage textbooks to her paintings, producing a unique illustrative style. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Budding Art Collective in Edmonton, AB.
