To those that came before us…
Bay 1 Gallery is the longtime dream of local furniture designer Ralph Reichenbach—a space to showcase his work and support fellow fine furniture makers, artisans, and regional artists. This dream was made possible thanks to those who came before him.
Rooted in family legacy, the gallery is located within Eberhard’s Manufacturing, a 24,000-square-foot facility that began in the garage of Ralph’s immigrant parents, Eberhard and Alma Reichenbach. Their dedication and hard work laid the foundation for what is now Bay 1 Gallery.
Our gallery offers a warm, elegant, and flexible space—ideal for group exhibitions and solo installations. We represent a diverse range of Canadian artists and artisans working in fine art, fine furniture, and fine craft. Committed to fostering meaningful connections, we bring together artists, collectors, and the wider community.
As we look forward, we also look back—seeking to move ahead with respect and gratitude for the land on which we gather. We respectfully acknowledge that Bay 1 Gallery is situated on Treaty 6 territory, which is home to the Cree, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, Métis, Inuit, and many other Indigenous peoples whose cultures and histories continue to enrich this land.
