This collection is a series that Jim Macgregor has been working on for the past year. “Liminal” is a term that describes the transitional space between who you once were and who you are becoming: on the threshold of significant change.

Liminality explores the spaces and moments of transition that shape our experiences. This show will invite you to explore the in-between—the thresholds where certainty fades and possibility emerges.

Each piece hopes to evoke feelings of being on the cusp, where familiar structures give way to new interpretations and perspectives. Works that blur boundaries and challenge perceptions.

This exhibition is not merely about observing art but about experiencing the nuanced emotions and concepts that arise when we find ourselves suspended between what was and what could be, inspiring a deeper understanding of the transient moments that shape our lives. It aims to encourage reflection on our own experiences of transition and transformation.

Jim Macgregor is an abstract artist who creates with an intricate, yet quiet and calm, colour palette, reflective of his introspective, gentle, and curious personality. He is a minimalist abstract artist. The artist will be present at both opening events.
