A Celebration of Fine Craft

Join us for our annual holiday tradition celebrating the beauty, skill, and creativity of handcrafted vessels - the timeless box & bowl.

Now an anticipated holiday tradition, the exhibition brings together functional objects elevated through thoughtful design, meticulous craftsmanship, and artistic expression. While wood remains at the heart of the exhibition, this year's juried show also includes work of other fine crafts.

Located within Eberhard's Manufacturing—our family woodworking business with more than seventy years of history—Bay 1 Gallery has developed a unique place in Alberta's arts community by exhibiting fine furniture alongside fine art and contemporary craft.

"There's something universally appealing about a beautifully made box or bowl," says gallery owner and furniture designer Ralph Reichenbach. "They're familiar objects, yet each maker approaches them differently. The exhibition celebrates both exceptional craftsmanship and the creativity behind everyday forms."

The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to meet local makers, discover one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces, and support Alberta artists during the holiday season.
